“Paul, and Silvanus, and Timotheus, unto the church of the Thessalonians in God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. We are bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is meet, because that your faith groweth exceedingly, and the charity of every one of you all toward each other aboundeth; So that we ourselves glory in you in the churches of God for your patience and faith in all your persecutions and tribulations that ye endure:” 2Thes. 1:1-4 (KJV) Saints remember, as the Apostle Paul, Silas, and Timothy, encouraged the Church at Thessalonica, with power and authority, in God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ: Greeting them with grace and peace, from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. Letting the Church know how they were bound to thank God always for them, fellow believers, as it was suitable, because of how their faith had grown exceedingly, and the love of God for every one of them toward each other abounded; Saints we must not forget, how Paul, Silas and Timothy themselves took honor in the Church at Thessalonica in the Churches of God for their patience and faith in all their persecutions and tribulations they endure: So let us today endure persecutions and tribulations we encounter with patience and faith in the same gospel we have received as the Thessalonians.
