And he came by the Spirit into the temple: and when the parents brought in the child Jesus, to do for him after the custom of the law, Then took he him up in his arms, and blessed God, and said, Lord, now lettest thou thy servant depart in peace, according to thy word: For mine eyes have seen thy salvation, Which thou hast prepared before the face of all people;” Luke 2:25-31 (KJV) SAINTS REMEMBER HOW THE MAN OF GOD, SIMEON; RIGHTEOUS AND DEVOTED TO GOD, WAITED FOR THE CONSOLATION OF ISRAEL: WHEN THE HOLY GHOST CAME UPON HIM. THE HOLY GHOST REVEALED TO SIMEON HE WOULD NOT SEE DEATH BEFORE HE SAW THE LORD’S CHRIST. AND HE CAME BY THE SPIRIT INTO THE TEMPLE: WHEN JOSEPH AND MARY THE PARENTS OF THE CHILD JESUS, BROUGHT HIM TO THE TEMPLE ACCORDING TO THE CUSTOM OF THE LAW, THEN SIMEON TOOK JESUS IN HIS ARMS AND BLESSED GOD, AND SAID “Lord, now lettest thou thy servant depart in peace, according to thy word: For mine eyes have seen thy salvation, Which thou hast prepared before the face of all people;” SAINTS WE MUST NOT FORGET AS SIMEON WAS LED BY THE SPIRIT, WE ARE HERE BY THE POWER OF THE HOLY GHOST TO PROCLAIM THE GOSPEL TO ALL PEOPLE, BY FAITH HAVING WITNESSED JESUS THE CHRIST FOR OURSELVES!!
